Body, Space, Time and Place

We are out of time and space, you and I.
What law, what philosophy of our brothers
sustains a life between breath and blood,
and courses like a golden stitch between
developing embryo and decrepit death?

There is none. The philosophies of Reason stand outside of a man
just as the body stands outside of but never
apart from the soul. The antechamber,
the indwelling where one may go to delight and repose
in the infinite spirit;

that which flows along
with the rivers of eternity and embraces the cosmic sands,
the natural energies and adhesives that hold together the transient
and delightful frame we inhabit. Only the clay of Adam
stands within the confines of space and time.

That which is ethereal flows downriver ever and onward.
Pooling where the All rests and awaits his beloved.
